3:15 UPDATEGreg Hackney did the near impossible, catching an 11-pound, 12-ounce limit today and moving into the top spot in the Forrest Wood Cup. He now has 14 pounds, 13 ounces, to easily secure making the top 10 cut and fishing the final two days.

But just moments ago, FLW ace Anthony Gagliardi in a tribute to the Three Rivers fishery held up two bass to the cameras–weighing a total of 1 pound, 10 ounces combined.

FIRST POSTCody Meyer of Redding has added 7 pounds, 7 pounds to his first day and ninth place catch of 6-3 to take the early day two lead in the Forrest Wood Cup event on Three Rivers in Pittsburgh.

At 2:40 p.m. PDT, he now sits ahead of Larry Nixon, who posted only three keepers today and sits in second place with 11-13. Just weighing in at 2:50, Rusty Selewske of Alpine added a 5-fish limit weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces to take over third place with 11 pounds, 7 ounces after two days.
