Hey, they squawk a little each year with the Top 40 List of California bass fishermen, but what will they say when the Top 100 boat dealerships in North America are recognized?

According to Boating Industry Magazine, there are just three dealerships that make the grade in California and among those with a bass boat focus, the best in the Golden State is Gone Fishin’ Marine in Dixon–coming in at 64th. The other dealers listed were Galey’s in Bakersfield in 62nd place, which does carry Lowe and Bayliner among several recreational lines and, in 93rd spot, Hardin Marine in Lake Arrowhead, which has pontoons and other recreational brands.

According to the Editor-in-Chief of the publication, Matt Gruhn, here’s how they came up with the list: “While most industry awards are given to those dealers that sell the most boats, our Top 100 program is much more qualitatively focused, “thereby leveling the playing field for all dealers and directing consumers to those dealers that can best deliver on the dream that boat ownership promises.”

The full story (if you like) also says that while the boating industry as a whole is down 30 percent across the board, the top 100 dealers are only down 11 percent. Gone Fishin’ Marine is a Nitro/Tracker, Skeeter, Triton and Lund dealer, in case you were wondering.

Anytime there is a ranking, it kind of makes you think, doesn’t it?

Gone Fishing is where I take my Engine for SERVICE….Mark, Mike, and Don are all top-notch.

Yes and this is not the first time for Gone Fishin to make the top 100 dealer list and if you have never visited this dealership you need to do yourself a favor and drop in.

Mark and his crew run a premier dealership, have factory trained mechanics and keep up to date on everything it takes to keep the bass boat customer on the water.

Anglers Marine Anaheim.
Rick and Cindy, and the whole crew, are always there when you need them.
They are a boater’s best friend.
