Hey, we just finished up a plastic worm ID contest here on KGF and gave away some Sebile baits. But those items are nothing like the prizes just announced in the 2011 Pinnacle Fishing Sweepstakes.

For example, the Tustin-based tackle maker is putting up a new Bass Cat bass boat, Mercury Optimax Pro XS outboard and matching trailer, plus a line-up of  some most excellent Pinnacle Tournament Class rod and reel combos.

As the announcement says, “Simply enter the 2011 Pinnacle Fishing Sweepstakes to ensure your chance of winning these valuable prizes and more. You can enter the sweepstakes anytime during the period of Feb. 1, 2011 through Jan. 31, 2012 by submitting an online entry at www.PinnacleFishing.com, or by mailing in a “tear off” entry form from POP displays at participating tackle dealers.”

Given the ease in which to enter, it seems like an email or regular mail entry might be a lot better chance at winning the Grand Prize bass rig, than having to go on tour and winning against the best in the biz somewhere. The actual prize is  a new 18-foot Bass Cat Sabre FTD bass boat, Mercury Optimax Pro XS 115 hp outboard, plus trailer.

Also to be awarded will be a total of , five (5) “Second-Place” prizes of Pinnacle Tournament Class Optimus™ XLT baitcaster/Perfecta™ Rod combos, plus an additional five (5) “Third-place” prizes  of Pinnacle Performa™ XLT Baitcasters.

Anyway, if you need  more information, or to enter the 2011 Pinnacle Fishing Sweepstakes, you should be able to connect soon (Sweeps begins tomorrow) at PinnacleFishing.com or a participating tackle retailer in your area.
